Getting started with Eventbrite Payment Processing

If you're hosting a paid event, Eventbrite Payment Processing is the default method for accepting payments online. Eventbrite sends your payout 3 days after the completion of your event or on the custom payout schedule you choose. Then, your bank and location will determine how long it takes for the money to show in your account.

Pricing

• Eventbrite charges a Ticketing Fee for every paid ticket or add-on you sell. Ticketing Fees vary by country and currency.
• Attendees pay the Ticketing Fees in addition to the ticket price by default. If you want to pay the fees instead, choose "Absorb fees" and we'll deduct the amount from your ticket sales.

NOTE: PayPal gives the option to set up online payments for countries and currencies where Eventbrite Payment Processing isn't available.

Payouts

• Your payout is sent 3 days after you complete your event or on the custom payout schedule you choose. If the payout day falls on a weekend or holiday, your payout will start processing on the next business day.
• It takes up to 5 additional business days (7 business days internationally) for your bank to deposit the payout in your account.
• The payout schedule you choose will be applied to all events in your Eventbrite account that use Eventbrite Payment Processing.
• If you use Eventbrite Payment Processing in the U.S., you are required to fill out your taxpayer information in order to receive your payouts.

Refunds

• Choose a refund policy and respond to any refund requests within 7 days.
• If you cancel your event or it doesn't occur, you are required to issue refunds to all attendees.
